Step into the homes – and hearts – of Jerusalem’s most fascinating locals
There’s no one quite like the people of Jerusalem… and to truly know the city, you have to meet the people who call it home.
We’ll explore the enchanting neighborhood of Nachlaot, hear its nostalgic history and hidden stories, and most importantly – be invited into the private homes of local residents.
We’ll meet Ruti – a mother of 11 from the ultra-Orthodox community who will share her family’s personal story. Then, we’ll visit Yoram – a local artist and activist with a passionate perspective on architecture and preservation in Jerusalem. Finally, we’ll sit with Yaki – who has lived in Nachlaot for over 60 years – as he shares his life story intertwined with the evolution of the neighborhood.
Optional: add tastings of homemade Jerusalem-style snacks and light refreshments during the tour.
