About Yerushalmit and Dorit Graiver

Jerusalem tours, stories and shared experiences

Jerusalem is full of stories — in its alleyways, markets and the lives of its people. At Yerushalmit, we bring these places and stories together with the people visiting us, creating tours and team-building experiences tailored to your group.

We plan tours and experiences for companies, organizations, employee groups, private groups and families. Choose a single tour or work with us to plan a day combining local stories, food and shared activities.

Dorit Graiver — tour guide and founder of Yerushalmit

Dorit Graiver is a licensed tour guide, a Jerusalem resident, and the founder and director of Yerushalmit. She guides in Jerusalem and throughout Israel, co-authored the book “Jerusalem — A Creative Album”, and is a Yad Vashem-certified guide.

Her love of the city comes through in her stories, local knowledge and attention to the people touring with her. Alongside Dorit, our team of guides brings a range of specialties, knowledge, humor and personal perspectives on Jerusalem.

Which side of Jerusalem would you like to discover?

Explore Machane Yehuda Market, discover the Old City, enjoy a theatrical tour or take part in a neighborhood treasure hunt. Yerushalmit offers different ways to experience the city together.

We also plan team-building days for companies and organizations. For families and private groups, we can plan an experience around your interests, participants and occasion.

Yael Hazi-Naftali, 32
Full disclosure: I'm not originally from Jerusalem. I ended up in this "exclusive club" completely by accident. I planned to stay just for the summer—but a decade later, here I am, with a tour guide certification, two and a half degrees, a marriage, and two dogs.

I'm not an eighth-generation Jerusalemite, I don’t say “Abu Agala,” and I believe cats exist in the masculine form too.
But I’m absolutely in love with the chaos of this city and truly believe it’s something extraordinary.
And maybe that’s exactly why it’s so much fun to explore Jerusalem with me.

Daniel Gil, 31, married and father to Aryeh, lives in Jerusalem.
He is a certified tour guide, as well as a staff guide at the City of David and the Western Wall Tunnels.
For the past 8 years, Daniel has been guiding tours in Jerusalem – and loving every minute of it.
He takes joy in sharing his unique perspective of the city: its diversity, stories, landscapes, and small details – always with a smile and a whole lot of heart.

A fantastic tour guide with nearly 10 years of experience, specializing in historical tours, culinary tours, and more.
A passionate Jerusalemite, happily married to Irit, proud “dad” to two dogs, and an active volunteer in an organization dedicated to rescuing and rehabilitating aggressive dogs.
